Blue Leg

“Good Health” is a piece inspired by the works of Basquiat. Aiming to promote one of the UNSDGs of “Good health and Well-being”, the subject of focus is a human leg accompanied by a bustling background. The blue and distorted complexion deviates the leg from the typical depiction of human anatomy, reflecting an individual’s conditions with deteriorating health. The reason for this is open to audience interpretation.

Earth

“Climate action” is a piece focused on Sustainable Development Goal 13: “Climate Action”. Inspired by Keith Haring and the contemporary movement, the continuous repetition of simple shapes in vibrant colors allows the piece to communicate the message to younger audiences more effectively. Humanity’s future rests solely on the shoulders of one individual. In a figurative sense, specific organizations and individuals are taking action to reverse the damage human activity has inflicted on Earth. However, due to opposing factors, such efforts have been rendered useless. Society has become reliant on others to resolve a social issue required of everyone’s participation; thus, raising awareness for climate action has become imperative.
